Childhood Immunisations

We strongly recommend that all children are immunised in line with current Government recommendations. However your immunisation may have to be delayed if your child is suffering from a fever or disease weakening the immune system, or taking steroid treatments. Some immunisations should not be given if your child has had a severe reaction to eggs or suffered from a reaction to any previous immunisation. Please discuss with your doctor if you have any concerns.

Children should be immunised at:

2 Months=1st     Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Pertussis, Hib, Pneumo

3 Months=2nd    Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Pertussis, Hib, Men C

4 Months=3rd     Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Pertussis, Hib, Men C, Pneumo

 

12 months =      Hib, Men C

13 months =      1st Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Pneumo

3-5 years =       Booster Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Pertussis, MMR

13-18 years =    Booster Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Polio, MMR

16-18 years =    HPV Vaccine x 3; 0 months, 1 month & 6 months.
